Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MetaOps, Inc. handles information through the MetaOps Cash Flow application (the "Application"). The Application is a private internal business tool and is not offered for public registration.
1. Information handled
The Application may handle:
- authorized-user identity, authentication, and security-log information;
- QuickBooks Online accounting data authorized by MetaOps, including reports and records needed for cash-flow, budget, invoice, bill, customer, vendor, and transaction review;
- cash-flow assumptions, budgets, forecasts, decisions, and operational notes entered or imported by authorized users; and
- technical records needed to operate, secure, audit, and troubleshoot the Application.
2. How information is used
Information is used to operate and secure the Application; prepare cash-flow forecasts and budget comparisons; reconcile source reports; support billing and payment review; maintain audit history; and comply with applicable business, accounting, and legal obligations.
3. QuickBooks access
The QuickBooks connection uses Intuit's OAuth authorization process and requests the QuickBooks Online Accounting scope. The Application is designed to retrieve approved data only and does not create, update, or delete QuickBooks records.
4. Sharing
MetaOps does not sell information handled by the Application. Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate the Application, including Intuit for QuickBooks connectivity and Cloudflare for hosting, storage, authentication, and security. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect MetaOps, its users, or others.
5. Security
MetaOps uses access controls, encrypted transport, encrypted storage for QuickBooks authorization tokens, limited user roles, and activity records intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Retention and disconnection
Information is retained as needed for accounting, audit, operational, security, and legal purposes. Disconnecting QuickBooks revokes the Application's stored connection tokens. Previously imported business records may be retained when needed for legitimate accounting, audit, or legal requirements.
7. Access and correction
Authorized users who need access corrected or removed should contact MetaOps. QuickBooks permissions can also be revoked through the applicable Intuit account controls.
8. Changes to this policy
MetaOps may update this policy when the Application, its data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
9. Contact
Privacy questions or requests may be sent to kcrabtree@metaops.com.
